In an unusual state of mind
which you rarely seem to find
smarter than they appear

The clouds start to fade away

She was home alone with nothing to do, her sister sleeping at a friends, her mom out in the town with her own friends.
She sat in the backyard in their newly acquired hammock, swinging from side to side. Listening to the creaking friction between the ropes, lulling her like a rocking chair. But those few moments of peace was disturbed with the wailing of tires, coming from in front of her house.
